BâSS™ a powerful backup feature
BâSS™ (Backup and Storage Server) is an integrated and powerful feature which allows users to backup both files and entire systems on to the freeStor 4020. Using the DiskSafe Express functionality, a boot image of the system is captured and in the event of a disk failure, the machine can be restored over an IP network. This greatly reduces end user downtime since the return to normal operation is almost immediate.
